Senior Solution Consultant - Corporate Performance Management / FP&A

Company Description
Forpoint Solutions are am established sales & consulting software business with an award-winning team spanning offices in Melbourne & Sydney and clients reaching throughout Australia and New Zealand. We are seeking a consulting professional, passionate about Budgeting, Forecasting and Business Intelligence technologies, and with a proven track record delivering successful projects and solutions.
This role is requires a Finance/Accounting qualified individual (CA or CPA) with experience in Financial Modelling, Budgeting and Analysis. You will draw on your experience, functional and analytical skills, enabling you to design effective FP&A solutions for our corporate customers.
Role Description
The role is for the design, development & implementation of new client solutions for budgeting, forecasting, consolidation and analysis, using world-class global software.
- Working directly with clients, as a Senior Solutions Consultant to understand their business needs and design & develop planning solutions.
- Become an expert in our FP&A software with dedicated certifications & ongoing training.
- Successfully engage with the customer’s senior and technical leadership team to understand business requirements for planning, forecasting & consolidation.
- Advising stakeholders and/or senior finance executives in decisions about business processes.
- Manage & deliver complex FP&A project requirements.
- Configuring integrations, data transfer and managing user acceptance testing.
- Training senior finance teams in the solution and promoting adoption.
- Promote our company as our solutions expert through thought leadership
- Conduct activity either in client office or remotely, as required.
Experience
- 3+ years implementation consulting experience with Budgeting, Forecasting or Business Intelligence solutions
- Developed analytical skills and ability to scope and design functional client solutions
- Prior experience with enterprise planning systems such as Workday Adaptive Planning, Anaplan, Hyperion, TM1, Board, OneStream, Jedox will be highly regarded
- Experienced in implementation methodologies and FP&A best practices
- Degree in Accounting or Business Information Systems
- Presales consulting experience is an advantage
- Implementation of consolidation, budgeting and reporting tools in holding companies of medium to large multinationals
